Info-Tech’s and Jobs Lah.com CEO contribute $250,000 to Child Welfare Initiatives

Singapore- Continuing his legacy and unwavering commitment towards the needy, Mr Dilip Babu, the CEO of Info-Tech Systems Integrators and Jobs Lah, contributes $250,000 to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (STSPMF) from his personal account. The contribution will directly support the children from low-income families for their educational fees, covering other essentials such as meals, transportation, and other schooling needs.

A long-time supporter of charitable initiatives, Mr Babu, donated his first contribution of $100,000 in 2022 to the motivation of his son Arjun, who studied at St. Andrews Secondary School and conveyed to him the students require assistance for canteen expenses. This was remarked by him, and he moved deeply, saying, “I am confident each dollar I spent will directly benefit the students who are in need.”

In his remarks, he stated that “No one should be denied access to good-quality academics due to financial barriers.” His family includes his wife, Mrs Ramya, daughters Srinithi, and Harini, and son Arjun, joined at the cheque presentation ceremony. Jaime Ho, Fund Chairman and Editor of the Straits Times, acknowledged Mr Babu, stating, “It is heartening advocates like Mr Babu who inspire the next generation to care for those in need.”

Mr Babu demonstrates leadership by encouraging his staff to participate actively in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. He remarked, “Everything I have earned is from this place, what I give back is drawn from the same source. I came to this world with nothing, and I’ll leave it with nothing. With the good health and wisdom, I have been granted, even the opportunities provided by the Singapore system. I’ve been leading a successful life. Now, it’s time to give it back to society, and I believe it’s the best way to give it back through education. I’m incredibly grateful that STSPMF giving the opportunity to help underprivileged children for education.”
